The European Commission is to investigate if Chinese companies are dumping glass fibre products following a complaint by the European Glass Fiber Producers' Association.
If the Commission’s findings support the complaint then China’s glass fibre producers could be faced with duty rates as high as 75%, according to the Dow Jones Newswires.
The investigation, which was announced in the EU’s Official Journal, could take 15 months to complete.
