In 2009, The financial crisis sweeping over the world. The machine tool industry felt the effects of the crisis. A large number of production enterprises stop production, layoffs or even bankruptcy.Meanwhile, a number of industrial enterprises in the Pearl River Delta transfer gradually to the Yangtze River Delta region, so that we can see the vitality.
SIIE2009 was held in mid-March 2009.Though many machine industry shows had area reduction, SIIE2009 still maintain 20,000 square meters of exhibition area balanced with the previous, because of its great vitality and the strong support of exhibitors.
In SIIE2009, more than 600 companies from 15 countries and regions (Germany, Switzerland, Britain, USA, Spain, Austria, Sweden, Czech, Italy, Korea, Singapore, Japan, China) took part in this exhibition,Including HAAS, Actspark, ZEISS from European and American countries, Mitsubishi, Brother, DOOSAN from Korea and Japan, Tongtai, Zhengdai, Checkteam, Daikin from Taiwan,and so on. Chinese famous enterprises such as Shanghai Electric, Dalian machine tools, and Shenyang Machine Tool also displayed their advanced technology and latest equipment in mold manufacturing, metal processing, and precision measurement.
