Taper Chisel bit is suitable for mining of black metal mines(such as iron mine/ manganese ore, nonferrous metal mine(such as gold/silver/copper ore), marble and granite etc. It's drilling depth usually is 15m-18m in case of hardness grade F8-14.

At present, there are Horse Shoe Bits and Chisel bits. Chisel is more popular in Saudi, and it's suitable for hard rock drilling. 
It is widely used in drilling holes with a depth size less than 5 meters and diameter scope in 20-45 mm by light-duty hand hold drills, Like Y6, Y10, Y24, , major use in natural dimensional stone quarry for small hole drilling, block ‘s trimming and 2nd splitting for small blocks.

Tapered chisel bit is one traditional drill bits with long history in the world, due to its simple production process, they are used widely in the world from the last century. Chisel bits means carbides are chisel type.Like taper drill rods, taper chisel bits have different taper degree according to customers request. And the diameters varies from 20mm to 45mm.

According to the total height of taper chisel bits, there are short skirt taper chisel bits and long skirt chisel bits. Usually short skirt means the total height of bits are 50 mm around,while long skirt taper bits are 75mm to 80mm around.

Matched with taper drill rods, the taper chisel bits are widely used in drilling holes with depth less than 5 meters by light-duty rock drill.
